And still no answers from the Education Department to explain how 12-year-old Kgosi Maloka was run over by his scholar transport bus.
The Maloka family expected a follow-up visit from MEC Matome Chiloane on Saturday, but that didn’t happen.

Chiloane had promised to return to the family within two weeks, giving them a specific date and time, with some answers as to what could have led to the horrific death.
With no education officials to address, the family turned to the highest office in the land.
The department says it will engage with the family on the latest developments.
